This glass concept home is created by Italian design firm Santambrogio. Carlo Santambrogio and designer Ennio Arosio have said that it was the desire of the client to build it completely out of glass. Located in Milan the house sits in the middle of a wood clearing.
The French doors separating the living room from the cooking/dining space were adorned by Sara’s nephews and nieces adding a vivid personal touch. Hanging over the Ellipsebord dining table an Arne Jacobsen’s black pendant light accompanies the couple’s meals.
As we step inside a chic looking spell binding interior welcomes us. The use of the colors the choice of accessories and furniture are so enticing but wait until you see the well-kept polished lawn and the beautiful swimming pool that just add to the beauty of the outdoors. And speaking of the boldness of the design we’re completely sold with both the interior and the exterior staircases.
My favorite is the kid’s bedroom which in contrast is lavishly decorated and appears like a crowded space full of colors and energy. The outdoor seating arrangement is so cool with the simplicity of the furniture and the lamp shades. Though everything here appears quite simple a lot of effort has been taken to attain the perfection. So that is a perfect example of a countryside home in Ireland. Already longing for one?
The house is owned by a couple and the husband prefers more of the traditional style while and wife is fond of both traditional and modern styles. See how they blend so perfectly in here. The stunning design running 3000 sq ft is created by of Pebble-Design and is located in the Gayrettepe neighborhood of Istanbul — known for its European settlements.
A designed by Jeff Andrews in Beverly Hills has succeeded in fulfilling all the demands of the owners — and we must say it’s a feast for the eyes. Andrews knew the owners well as this was actually his third project for the couple.
As you can see everything single thing in this house is made of glass including the floors ceilings as well as the staircases — yes you’re reading it right Even the book cases the tables and the cabinets are made of glass. The only things we could find not being made out of glass are the bed and the fancy couch. Actually the bed frame and the couch frame ARE made of glass but there’s a nice mattress in there to accommodate your body — after all who would want to sleep on glass?!
