There is a comfortable office area for work that does not invade the floor space with its tight against the wall profile. This is truly an art lovers’ abode. In the South Park neighborhood of San Francisco dotted with art galleries and studios designer has done a makeover of a 1916 landmark warehouse and the efforts she has taken is worth every bit of it. See the vast wall space meant for displaying the exquisite pieces of art collected by her over the years. The best part is that the interior does not look crowded despite putting so much stuff together.
The base shade of the walls and ceilings are off-white which enhances the already existing serene feeling. Arranged beautifully the living area is enticing with the shelves photo frames as well as the book shelf finding the perfect slots. Kitchen is quite big and is adorned with modest decorations.
Accompanied by the Louis Poulsen Panthella Floor Lamp this pendant light acts more like a floor lamp and balances the design. The comfy couch is lit from another beautifully designed piece – the AJ wall lamp by Arne Jacobsen also seen in the bedroom.
As you can see everything single thing in this house is made of glass including the floors ceilings as well as the staircases — yes you’re reading it right Even the book cases the tables and the cabinets are made of glass. The only things we could find not being made out of glass are the bed and the fancy couch. Actually the bed frame and the couch frame ARE made of glass but there’s a nice mattress in there to accommodate your body — after all who would want to sleep on glass?!
The interior is awe-inspiring. A relatively larger courtyard in the exact middle complements the whole design. Here the actual ground is maintained as such along with the trees. The pillars in black are another spectacular feature. Following a style that is quite simple and inviting the house uses white as the basic hue while off white and cream add support.
