Voorsanger Architects created a stunning home in Aspen Colorado. The Wildcat Ridge residence – as it was named – sits atop a 9200 feet elevation overlooking beautiful natural surroundings. The fragile nature of the site challenged the architects to design a home that would follow the contours of the land but display a stunning modern architecture.
A stylish and compact little bookshelf was carved out on the wall adjacent to a stylish sleek and modern rectangular fireplace. The splashes of bright orange here and there on the unique stools and couch cushions along with the subtle use of orange in the patio furniture that is visually connected to the living space ensures that there is no sense of blandness in this modern makeover.
Spread across 12000 sq ft of space the mansion created by and of jamesthomas imbibes all those natural elements into it at the same time sports a very modern outlook. Once you step inside you can find that the indoor decor has been done in a way that it holds an earthly sort of sober tone to it. Belgian studio Cocoon Architecten started from an existing farmhouse in Genk Belgium and constructed a modern oasis of comfort prepared to take on a new lifestyle. The Framework House now displays the existing building and an additional black volume facing the street.
