The interior is awe-inspiring. A relatively larger courtyard in the exact middle complements the whole design. Here the actual ground is maintained as such along with the trees. The pillars in black are another spectacular feature. Following a style that is quite simple and inviting the house uses white as the basic hue while off white and cream add support.
Vegetation is put into use in the most subtlest and beautiful way. The dining room has got a bench seat on one side of the table that maximizes space. A lavishly arranged kid’s room sports large paintings that feature lyrics of Madonna’s “Little Star” acts and they are show stopping pieces.
As you can see everything single thing in this house is made of glass including the floors ceilings as well as the staircases — yes you’re reading it right Even the book cases the tables and the cabinets are made of glass. The only things we could find not being made out of glass are the bed and the fancy couch. Actually the bed frame and the couch frame ARE made of glass but there’s a nice mattress in there to accommodate your body — after all who would want to sleep on glass?!
Wooden ceilings make the whole area so admirable and so do the brick walls. Metal rods that hold the lighting props which run across on the ceilings are kept exposed. The flooring looks as if it has been made to reflect the ceiling while the pillars sport a rustic look and the multi-paned windows have helped it maintain the elegance.
Colors go well with the accessories and furniture that sport contrasting shades. Made up of two concrete slabs that are kept at a distance from each other by concrete plates the construction sees to it that they structurally takes care of the internal division.
The catwalk staircase in the central is the major highlight here. The sitting area and office are on the second floor. The interiors reflect an ultra-modern outlook. Since the couple have baby boy born towards the end of the renovation works baby-proofing elements were also incorporated into the design.
The glass material used for its construction is 6 to 7 mm thick. The material can be specially heated during the winter which is one of the best and most demanded characteristic feature. It is simply awesome to behold and looks like a perfectly cut and polished glass cube from outside with a blue tinge to it. But I really wonder how one could live inside such a building.
