are always special; they never lose their aristocratic appeal. One such building situated on the looks induced by the essence of the countryside. Designed by Fiona Simmonds it resembles a dormer residence of the 70s. The interior design followed here is simple and minimalist and merges the features of olden times with modernity. Provided with many windows to let fresh air and light of the countryside in the indoors appear so inviting and relaxing.
The interior is awe-inspiring. A relatively larger courtyard in the exact middle complements the whole design. Here the actual ground is maintained as such along with the trees. The pillars in black are another spectacular feature. Following a style that is quite simple and inviting the house uses white as the basic hue while off white and cream add support.
Perched atop a beautiful spot that overlooks the ocean in a regal fashion the home is as impressive inside as it is on the outside. The indoors are beautifully decorated with top notch furniture and architecture’s skill is exhibited throughout in a striking manner with the use of superb arches and glittering finish. The curved structure is creative unique and definitely one of the most distinctive homes on the Californian coast that has no dearth of luxury homes.
The kitchen has a wonderful and ample red hanging shelf unit that separates the cooking area from the dining area. the cooking surfaces are arranged so the hose can converse with the guests while the food preparation in happening. A red couch adds a continuation of the accent color as well as a demarcation between the living and dining areas.
The glass material used for its construction is 6 to 7 mm thick. The material can be specially heated during the winter which is one of the best and most demanded characteristic feature. It is simply awesome to behold and looks like a perfectly cut and polished glass cube from outside with a blue tinge to it. But I really wonder how one could live inside such a building.
That obviously is the ideal way to demonstrate how renovations can be done with proper planning and abundant imagination and they set about the project by changing the floor of the house into an all-black surface. Beautiful carpets and colorful furniture were laid in the living room to offer a vivid and playful look.
Schnieders is but not satisfied with the small size of the bathroom and the style of the kitchen. He also does not like the ceiling fans. But we feel that the fans are just alright in terms of the traditional accessories the house has been adorned with. Well he is a man who believes that even if a space is very temporary it should feel like our own otherwise we will be miserable. May be that is why he is so cynical about certain aspects of the house. We wish him and his family that their house under renovation would truly be a dream home.
