My favorite is the kid’s bedroom which in contrast is lavishly decorated and appears like a crowded space full of colors and energy. The outdoor seating arrangement is so cool with the simplicity of the furniture and the lamp shades. Though everything here appears quite simple a lot of effort has been taken to attain the perfection. So that is a perfect example of a countryside home in Ireland. Already longing for one?
A lovely home in the countryside – this was the dream of the Italian couple They always wanted to go back to the countryside where both of them grew up. Quite aware of how different childhood would be here as compared to urban areas they wanted to give their children the same exotic experience they had. The farmhouse has a truly elegant look to it.
The base shade of the walls and ceilings are off-white which enhances the already existing serene feeling. Arranged beautifully the living area is enticing with the shelves photo frames as well as the book shelf finding the perfect slots. Kitchen is quite big and is adorned with modest decorations.
A stylish and compact little bookshelf was carved out on the wall adjacent to a stylish sleek and modern rectangular fireplace. The splashes of bright orange here and there on the unique stools and couch cushions along with the subtle use of orange in the patio furniture that is visually connected to the living space ensures that there is no sense of blandness in this modern makeover.
One could observe the vintage fireplace typical of the early twentieth century in the living room. Also it has been maintained beautifully. In fact the whole house has some antique hues to it. Every other accessories and furniture in the room has upheld the element of antiquity and they go very well with this pretty little domicile. The bedroom is the loveliest of the lot though relatively small in size.
A designed by Jeff Andrews in Beverly Hills has succeeded in fulfilling all the demands of the owners — and we must say it’s a feast for the eyes. Andrews knew the owners well as this was actually his third project for the couple.
Belgian studio Cocoon Architecten started from an existing farmhouse in Genk Belgium and constructed a modern oasis of comfort prepared to take on a new lifestyle. The Framework House now displays the existing building and an additional black volume facing the street.
