Vegetation is put into use in the most subtlest and beautiful way. The dining room has got a bench seat on one side of the table that maximizes space. A lavishly arranged kid’s room sports large paintings that feature lyrics of Madonna’s “Little Star” acts and they are show stopping pieces.
Tatarko tells that the renovation of their house is an ongoing project and that inspiration from Houzz and its large collection of images was a key aspect in all of it. (And we are not surprised at all!)
The other side of the black wall facing the street is white and flooded with light from above where a long and narrow skylight ensures that natural light will flood the adjacent living space separated by a glass wall. Inside this ample space the living continues with a dining/cooking area. There is an expansive food preparation area that should provide enough room for any size feast.
Chances are that you would take this structure to be a flying saucer that accidentally landed in the woods. Well no this is an amazingly cool residence located in Ghent Belgium and is designed by Architecten De Vylder Vinck Taillieu. Called the house sports huge glass windows all round thereby bringing in the essence of the beauty of the woods inside.
My favorite is the kid’s bedroom which in contrast is lavishly decorated and appears like a crowded space full of colors and energy. The outdoor seating arrangement is so cool with the simplicity of the furniture and the lamp shades. Though everything here appears quite simple a lot of effort has been taken to attain the perfection. So that is a perfect example of a countryside home in Ireland. Already longing for one?
